The Canadian Curling Assoc. has chosen Brian to receive the Volunteer of the Year Award, he was chosen from nominations from across Canada. Brian will receive his award on the ice during playoffs at the Brier in London, ON.

Morris Anything Goes Open- March 16-18, 2012
Have that last horrah and wind up the curling season with a mens, ladies, or mixed combined bonspiel. It was a blast last year, and promises to be even better his year. Includes a dinner Saturday. Registrations can be emailed in to Allan Gitzel ror Brian Recksiedler. Cost is $120.00 per team. Registration due by Feb 28th.
Eagles Annual Bonspiel - March 23-25, 2012
MCT 2011-2012 Dekalb Superspiel - November 24-27
Once again, we will be MCT points affiliated, WCT points affiliated, and CTRS points affiliated. This is a good chance to shore up or push for those extra few points.
There will be a total of $54,000 in combined prizes based on a full entry.
Prize Breakdown: Men -- $10,000-$6,000-2 x $3,000-4 x $2,000= $30,000
Womens -- $8,000-$4,800-2 x $2,400-4 x $1,600 = $24,000
